A Magistrate’s Court in Kura, Kano State, has ordered the remand of a man named Abdul’aziz in a correctional facility for allegedly assaulting a 75-year-old hospital worker. The suspect is accused of attacking Hajiya Sahura Abdullahi Kura, a staff member of Kura General Hospital, after she prevented him from entering the maternity ward. The police prosecutor, Inspector Nasiru Abubakar Dansakkwato, brought the suspect before Magistrate Muhammad Alhaji Isah, and the suspect pleaded guilty to the charge. The court adjourned the case until September 17, 2026, for further consideration.
