FG Unveils ​‌⁠⁠​‍⁠⁠‌‌⁠‌​​‌‌New Reforms to Tackle Almajiri, Out-of-School Children

The Federal Government has introduced new reforms to address the challenges of Almajiri and out-of-school children in Nigeria. Dr. Balarabe Kakale, Special Adviser to the Minister of Education, announced the reforms at a stakeholders engagement in Kaduna. The policies focus on five pillars: foundational literacy, numeracy, vocational and technical education, digital education, and coordination between federal and state agencies. The goal is to ensure every Nigerian child returns to school and acquires relevant skills.
