Chevron Nigeria Limited announced a 98% reduction in gas flaring over the past decade, citing its commitment to environmental sustainability. The company's General Manager for Corporate Affairs, Oduselu Olusoga, made this known during a workshop on oil and gas reporting in Asaba, Delta State. He explained that gas is now gathered and treated before being supplied to the domestic market, aligning with the company's goal of cleaner energy and environmentally safe production. Chevron also highlighted its investment of one million dollars in Nigerian content development.
