The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, has urged Nigerians and organizations to patronize indigenous digital solutions to promote economic growth and data sovereignty. During a visit to Galaxy Backbone Ltd. in Abuja, he called for support of the 'Buy Nigeria, Make Nigeria' initiative by using locally developed software and hardware. Oyedele noted that some Nigerian organizations have found local technology more affordable and of better quality, stressing that Nigeria should maximize opportunities in the digital economy.
