The Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's directive to channel legally cleared and unencumbered funds recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) will significantly strengthen the Fund's long-term financial sustainability. Alausa also revealed that the President had directed that the funds be used to support education financing.
