A Magistrate's Court in Kano has adjourned the case against Al'amin Saidu and Isah Bala, who are accused of conspiring to defame the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, via social media. The case is being heard by Magistrate Hadiza Muhammad Hassan at Court No. 21. The prosecution requested that the defendants remain in police custody for further investigation and to amend charges. The court has scheduled the next hearing for August 31, 2026.
