United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Fidelity Bank have obtained approval from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to extend the deadline for publishing their audited financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026. The banks are now expected to submit the results on or before September 30, 2026. UBA's Group Company Secretary stated that the board approved the financial statements on August 13, 2026, but the primary regulator's approval is still required.
