AFC Capital Partners (ACP), the asset management subsidiary of Africa Finance Corporation, has launched the Infrastructure Climate-Resilient Fund Nigeria (ICRF Nigeria) to mobilize domestic institutional capital for climate-resilient infrastructure projects in Nigeria and Africa. Registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a closed-end fund, ICRF Nigeria aims to channel investments from pension fund administrators, insurers, asset managers, and other Nigerian institutional investors into commercially viable infrastructure opportunities. The fund is part of ACP's $750 million Infrastructure Climate-Resilient Fund, which embeds climate considerations throughout the asset lifecycle.
