The Indian Independence Day Cup 2026 Tournament at Ikeja Golf Club concluded with Jimoh Ogundare and Linda Obieze emerging as champions in the men's and women's categories, respectively. The third edition of the tournament, which celebrated the 80th anniversary of India's independence, attracted over 140 players from golfing communities including Ikeja, Ikoyi, and Lakowe. Ogundare won the men's overall category with 38 points on count back, while Wale Kalejaiye was first runner-up with the same score and Henry Gboneme took second runner-up with 37 points. In the women's category, Obieze claimed the title, and Arun Sharma won the best gross award with 74 points.
