Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has signed into law the revised Edo House of Assembly Funds Management Bill 2023 and the State Judiciary Financial Autonomy 2023 Amendment Bill. The bills were passed by the Edo State House of Assembly on Monday and signed the same day at the Government House in Benin City. Governor Okpebholo commended the lawmakers for their swift action and expressed delight that the issue, which he described as controversial, had been resolved. He emphasized that the three arms of government have distinct responsibilities and should operate within their constitutional mandates.
