Data from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) shows that Dangote Petroleum Refinery's petrol supply fell by 21% in July 2026, while imports rose by 9%. Average daily petrol receipts declined from 50.6 million litres in June to 45.5 million litres in July, a 10% month-on-month drop. Despite this, petrol stock sufficiency improved to 22.4 days from 19.7 days in June, though it remains below the regulatory minimum of 30 days. The contraction was driven mainly by domestic supply reductions.
