Ogun Waterside Local Government has pledged full support for the proposed Dangote Deep Seaport, describing it as a transformative investment for industrialization and employment. The commitment was made during a stakeholders' meeting convened by the council chairman, Hon. AbdulGaniyu Adetoye Odunnoiki, which included Dangote Group representatives, traditional rulers, and government officials. The chairman commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun for approving the Free Trade Zone in Ode Omi and Irokun as the project's location.
