The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has inaugurated a taskforce to drive the implementation of Nigeria's National Sovereign Cloud Initiative. The taskforce, named the National Sovereign Cloud Initiative Implementation Taskforce (NSCI-ITF), will oversee the development and deployment of a government-controlled cloud infrastructure. This initiative aims to enhance data sovereignty and digital autonomy for the country.
