Data from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) shows that average daily petrol supply from domestic refineries fell by 20.6% to 25.8 million litres in July 2026, down from 32.5 million litres in June. This decline was partly offset by increased petrol imports, which rose to 19.7 million litres per day in July from 18.1 million in June. Combined domestic and imported supply averaged 45.5 million litres per day in July, a 10.1% decrease from June's 50.6 million litres. This marks the second consecutive monthly decline in total petrol supply.
