Police use Flock to search license plates. Now there's a viral website to see if yours was one of them.

A website called "Have I Been Flocked?" has gained popularity by allowing users to check if their license plates were captured by Flock Safety cameras. The site was created by former software engineer Cris van Pelt in October 2025 and now sees hundreds of thousands of visitors daily. Flock's technology is used in over 6,000 communities across 49 states. Van Pelt says the goal is transparency, not necessarily ending Flock's use.
