Eid ul Mawlid: IPCR Urges Nigerians to Reject Hate Speech, Embrace Dialogue

The Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) has urged Nigerians to reject hate speech and embrace dialogue as Muslims celebrate Eid ul Mawlid. In a statement, IPCR's Director General, Dr. Joseph Ochogwu, called for tolerance and mutual understanding, emphasizing the Prophet Muhammad's teachings on compassion and peaceful coexistence. The Institute noted that Nigeria's diversity should be seen as a strength and used the occasion to promote national unity. IPCR encouraged Nigerians of all faiths to foster peaceful relationships within their communities.
