President Museveni of Uganda has approved the establishment of three new skilling hubs to expand vocational training for vulnerable youth. Two hubs will be in Ntungamo and Bushenyi districts, and one in Kalangala District. The decision follows concerns about competition for limited training slots at existing hubs. State House Comptroller Jane Barekye announced the development during stakeholder engagements on Monday.
