President Donald Trump has threatened to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America, escalating trade tensions with Canada. In a Truth Social post, Trump said the U.S. is considering the name change because it doesn't expect to do much business with Ontario. Lake Ontario, the smallest of the Great Lakes, straddles the U.S.-Canada border, with Toronto on its northern shore.
