The Federal Government has announced that 65 Nigerians will return from South Africa on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The returnees, sponsored by private individuals, will depart from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg at 3:30 p.m. local time aboard a South African Airways flight. They are expected to arrive at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at 8:45 p.m. the same day. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation to the sponsors and assured that relevant agencies will continue to coordinate the safe return of Nigerians.
