The United States military has begun specialized training for Nigerian troops in drone technology, combat casualty care, and other operational skills. The training is taking place at an operating location in Bauchi State under a broader US-Nigeria military partnership. According to the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), the program covers areas such as Combat Lifesaver, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, weapons familiarization, camouflage techniques, water treatment, explosive ordnance disposal, small-unit tactics, and unmanned aircraft systems. The initiative aims to improve operational readiness and enhance interoperability between the two forces.
