The Inspector-General of Police has honoured 10 officers who were killed during a gun battle in Kebbi State. The officers, members of the Police Force Special Intervention Squad, died on Monday, August 10, 2026, while engaging terrorists. The IGP vowed to continue the relentless fight against terrorism in the country.
