The 53rd PFA Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Manchester, with several top English football players competing for individual honours. Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes leads the nominees for the PFA Players' Player of the Year award after an outstanding season, facing competition from Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki, as well as Arsenal trio Declan Rice, David Raya, and Gabriel. Fernandes set a new Premier League assist record with 21 assists and won both the Premier League Player of the Season and Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year awards. Cherki is also nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award alongside other young talents, with eight awards to be presented at the ceremony.
