The Director-General of the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (NICRAT), Prof. Usman Malami Aliyu, has described the N302.3bn national cancer institute as a key step to reduce medical tourism. He stated that the facility will provide advanced cancer treatment within Nigeria, saving foreign exchange and improving healthcare access. The project is expected to be completed soon.
