President Bola Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, and all relevant security agencies to launch a coordinated rescue operation for victims of a recent mass abduction in Niger State. The directive was contained in a release by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday. Tinubu expressed outrage over the abduction and killing of innocent citizens and ordered Service Chiefs to provide regular briefings on the progress until all abducted persons are accounted for. He stated that 'Terror will not cow Nigeria' and described the attackers as enemies of peace and humanity.
