The Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd.), has said the fight against drug trafficking cannot be won through arrests alone. He stressed the need to deprive traffickers of the proceeds of their crimes. Marwa made the declaration while delivering a presentation at the 43rd Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime. He told an international audience that criminal justice systems must focus on making crime unprofitable.
