The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has identified the officers depicted in a viral video allegedly showing police personnel extorting N40,000 from a resident along Wuye-Utako Road in Abuja. The Command has also invited the complainant to appear at its headquarters to make an official statement to assist the investigation. The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, ordered an investigation after the video surfaced on social media. The officers shown in the video have been identified and are in custody, according to the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh.
