The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has urged Nigerians to embrace peace, patience, compassion, and unity as the country continues to implement reforms aimed at strengthening the economy, improving security, and expanding opportunities. In a statement he personally signed to felicitate with Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud, Idris said the celebration offers an opportunity to reflect on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, particularly his messages of peace, compassion, patience, justice, humility, and respect for others. He emphasized that these values are important as Nigeria navigates a period of reform and renewal under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.
