Ibadan-Ijebu Ode road: Tinubu, APC can’t run from Makinde forever — APM

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) of deliberately excluding Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde from the flag-off of the Ibadan-Ijebu Ode federal road project for fear that his presence could overshadow the President. The party claimed that Makinde's record in Oyo State, growing popularity, and influence among political leaders would have shifted attention at the ceremony and exposed what it described as the Tinubu administration's poor performance in road construction. APM's National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Yusuf, said the Presidency and APC were uncomfortable with a direct comparison between Tinubu's performance and that of Makinde.
