Residents of Romi village in Kano State have demanded the reconstruction of a collapsed bridge and rehabilitation of a 6.7-kilometre road linking them to the local government headquarters. The bridge, initially built through self-help and completed in 1995, has remained unreconstructed for nearly three decades. The road serves as a strategic link for nearly 20 communities. Residents threatened to boycott future elections if the infrastructure is not repaired.
