Benue’s Taraku Mills 75 percent ready for full production – Contractor

A team of engineers from Al Wadi Al Akhdar Oil Mills in Cairo, Egypt, has assessed the long-abandoned Taraku Mills in Benue State, Nigeria, and determined that the facility is 75 percent ready for full-scale production following ongoing rehabilitation. The team, led by Saleh Mansury, inspected key sections of the factory alongside officials from the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC). The engineers evaluated equipment, operational processes, and production systems to gauge preparedness. Mansury stated that only about 25 percent of work remains to make the facility fully operational.
