Ambassador Godknows Igali, National Chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), has decried the deteriorating condition of roads in Nigeria's South-South region. He described the area as being in a state of crisis despite being the nation's economic backbone. Igali highlighted the severe gridlock on the Benin-Agbor-Asaba Road, where motorists have been stranded for days. He criticized the Federal Government for neglecting the region's infrastructure, noting that recent approvals for major road projects did not include any in the South-South.
