Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi scored a goal and provided an assist on his full debut for Coventry City in a Carabao Cup match against Plymouth Argyle. Coventry won 4-2, with Awoniyi opening the scoring in the third minute and setting up a second goal for Jack Rudoni. He was substituted with 20 minutes remaining.
