The Nigerian Insurers Association has commended seven additional companies that received operational licenses from the National Insurance Commission after completing recapitalisation requirements. The association's chairman, Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu, said this marks the successful conclusion of the industry-wide recapitalisation exercise. She noted that the milestone reflects progress towards a robust and competitive market. The newly licensed firms join 41 insurance companies and 2 reinsurance companies previously approved.
