Amnesty International and Yiaga Africa have condemned the Chairman of Kuje Area Council in Abuja for allegedly threatening residents to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) or leave the area ahead of the 2027 elections. The organizations described the comment as undemocratic and a violation of citizens' rights. They called on relevant authorities to address the matter and ensure free and fair elections.
