Obi camp knocks Tinubu over absence from key events

The Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR) has criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for allegedly relying on surrogates for political engagements ahead of the 2027 presidential election. In a statement signed by Idris Zekeri Jnr, POMR accused the President of positioning for a second term without directly engaging voters. The group highlighted the President's absence from high-profile national events, including the signing of the National Peace Accord and the Nigerian Bar Association annual conference. POMR demanded that the President present himself directly to the electorate.
