ADC N’East quashes suspension of Adamawa care-taker chairman

The North East Executive Committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has lifted the suspension on the Adamawa State chairman of the Caretaker Committee, Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin. The suspension was initially imposed on August 18, 2026, over alleged maladministration and misconduct. In a letter dated August 24, 2026, the zonal committee, led by National Vice Chairman Daniel M. Bwala, stated that due process was not followed in the suspension. The committee acknowledged receipt of a petition against Dasin but found procedural flaws.
