The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, met with the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, on Tuesday as part of the party's preparations for the 2027 general elections. The closed-door meeting lasted several hours, with a palace source indicating that discussions centered on the APC's efforts to strengthen its support base in Kano. The source added that the APC leadership sought the palace's support and endorsement for all APC candidates in the state.
