MTN Group has announced plans to develop AI-enabled data centres with an initial capacity of about 150 megawatts across Nigeria and South Africa. The project will be undertaken through a venture with an undisclosed UAE-backed investor. The initiative aims to support the growing demand for artificial intelligence and cloud services in the region.
