Chinese AI lab DeepSeek has generated approximately 475 million yuan ($70.7 million) in revenue in the first seven months of this year, a tenfold increase compared to its full-year 2025 revenue, according to sources familiar with the company's financial data. Despite the revenue surge, DeepSeek recorded a net loss of about 715 million yuan between January and July, narrower than the 935 million yuan loss for the entire 2025. The company is in talks with existing and new investors for a funding round aiming to raise 50 billion yuan at a valuation of 500 billion yuan.
