The Nigerian Navy has arrested a wanted militant kingpin in Bayelsa State and recovered an AK-47 rifle among other items. The operation also led to a pursuit of suspected associates who fled into surrounding bushes, some believed to have sustained gunshot wounds. The commanding officer, Capt. Sunday Haruna, confirmed the operation. The suspect is in custody for further investigation.
