Tesla has increased the price of two Cybertruck trims by $5,000, raising the base Dual Motor model to $74,990 and the Premium All-Wheel Drive to $84,990. The price hikes come as sales of the Cybertruck have fallen short of CEO Elon Musk's targets, with an estimated 7,263 units sold in the first half of 2026, down 32.2% from the previous year. Analysts suggest the move indicates Tesla is positioning the Cybertruck as a luxury vehicle rather than pursuing mass-market volume.
