The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council, has condemned the assault and intimidation of journalists covering an official engagement at the Yankari Game Reserve. The incident occurred during the unveiling of a 500KVA solar power station, involving a Department of State Services (DSS) officer. The officer allegedly slapped Bashir Adamu of Bauchi Radio Corporation three times despite proper identification.
