A new report by WalletHub ranked the hardest-working and least hardworking states in the US, examining factors such as employment rates, average workweek hours, and commute times. South Dakota was ranked the hardest-working state, while Michigan was ranked the least hardworking. American employees work an average of 1,800 hours a year, according to the OECD.
