Kenya has called for concrete investments and measurable results to build a self-reliant African health sector, reducing dependence on external support. Health Cabinet Secretary Hon. Aden Duale made the call during the 76th WHO Regional Committee for Africa, where the regional strategy 'A New Era of Health for Africa: United Action for Vision 2035' was discussed. Kenya expressed support for the vision, aligning it with ongoing reforms. Duale emphasized priorities such as sustainable health financing, local manufacturing, and digital transformation.
