Presidency blames contractor for Benin-Agbor-Asaba road crisis

The Nigerian Presidency has blamed the contractor handling the Benin-Agbor-Asaba highway for the road's deplorable condition and the gridlock that stranded motorists for days. Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare, said the contractor failed to fulfill its obligations. Dare noted that the Federal Government responded swiftly after the situation escalated, and stakeholders, including the contractor, were involved in addressing the crisis.
