Chidoka to Abia: Build systems that outlive governors

Osita Chidoka, former Minister of Aviation and founder of the Athena Centre for Policy and Leadership, is set to deliver the keynote lecture at the 35th anniversary of the creation of Abia State. The lecture, titled 'Abia at 35: The Rise of a New Abia,' will focus on state capacity, institutional development, and effective governance. Chidoka, who also served as Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, recently argued that physical infrastructure investments must be matched by institutional capacity for sustainability.
