Gunmen attacked a civilian guard post in Gwa Rim community, Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, killing three vigilantes. The attack occurred at about 2 a.m. on Wednesday while the vigilantes were on duty. A resident, Damba Dang, confirmed the incident, noting that the attackers struck while the community was asleep. Dang expressed concern over renewed attacks, saying residents are increasingly worried about their safety.
