The Federal Government launched a $1 billion social protection programme called the Household Prosperity and Empowerment Social Protection Project (HOPE-SP) in Abuja. The programme aims to transition vulnerable households from temporary aid to sustainable self-reliance. It was launched alongside four additional initiatives to bolster humanitarian response and poverty reduction. First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu delivered a keynote address titled 'From Palliatives to Pathways'.
