The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has expressed sadness over the death of its former President, Dotun Oladipo, publisher of The Eagle Online. Oladipo died on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the age of 56. He served as GOCOP President from 2017 to 2021 and was instrumental in shaping the Guild. His death is a loss to the Nigerian media community.
