The Zamfara State Government has allocated approximately N125 billion for road construction, reconstruction, and rehabilitation projects across the state in 2026. The projects, spread across the three senatorial zones, include major inter-town roads, emergency routes, bridges, link roads, and dual carriageways, targeting communities with historically poor road access. A flagship project is the 105-kilometre Gusau-Magami-Dansadau Road, with a N20 billion allocation. Other significant allocations include N15 billion for the Kantin Daji-Unguwar Gwaza and Roundabout-Airport corridors, and N12 billion for roads linking Bebeji, Aminu Aliyu Road, Tudun Wada Roundabout, and other sections of Gusau.
